Intone Power SVG Static Var Generator has a modular design, which are typically comprised power electronic components, such as Insulate-Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) , DC capacitors,DSP boards and control board. SVG operates by generating or absorbing reactive power into system to balance and the overall power factor.
Internal topology of Static var generator
Intone Power SVG is currently the most advanced dynamic reactive power compensation device connected to the grid in parallel, External Current Transformer(CT) measures load current and DSP helps to calculate and analyze the required reactive current. By using CT detects the phase angle difference SVG generates leading or lagging current into the grid, making the phase angle of current almost the same as that of voltage on the transformer side, realizing the target power factor to utility.
